The South Dakotans

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our “DAKOTANS” depart Newark Liberty International Airport early Saturday morning August 5. After a brief stop in the Twin Cities they arrive in Rapid City, SD.

 

They saddle up for their journey to Pine Ridge. Their trip south takes them past a magnificent tribute-“a grouping of four leaders, who brought the country from colonial times into the 20th century.”

 

They pass miles and miles of grasslands that extend in all directions to the horizon. Unlike the pioneers who settled these “Badlands”, our intrepid “DAKOTANS” are equipped with satellite guidance (aka GPS). Their journey ends at the Jefco Inn.
